christmas

Imagine you live in a small apartment. A Studio apartment. In London, where space just doesn’t exist. Unless you’re a millionaire, which I’m not (yet). Where do you put a Christmas tree? The wall! Having lived in such a tiny space for almost a year, I’ve learned to use all available space for storage and for decoration. Floor space is limited so I knew one of my 4 walls would have the answer to my problem.

The branch came from my local park (found on the ground – no trees were harmed). I painted it white with some leftover paint and decorated with some tiny baubles bought from Paperchase, M&S and Tiger. It was attached to the wall with a small nail (don’t tell the landlord!). Although I did miss having my kitsch white Christmas tree with all my vintage decorations, this was a cheap and stylish way to add a bit of Christmas to my tiny space.
